Matina Grebener talks with Debora SInger of Asylum Aid about its work over the past 20 years and about its Charter for a better understanding of the needs of female asylum seekers and refugees. Agnes Pareyio, from the Tasaru Rescue Centre, Narok, Kenya and Asha Kin Duale discuss the practice of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and their work to eradicate it. Asylum Aid celebrates 20 years working for Refugees
Matina Grebener talks with Debora Singer, Policy and Research Manager of Asylum Aid about how they link casework with Asylum and Refugee Policy. Asylum Aid has developed a charter of demands. They want the Government to take a more gender aware approach to Asylum applications. The Charter is supported by a number of other groups.
