Camden Green Gym celebrates its 2nd Birthday
CCRadio’s David Kirkwood brings us the lowdown on Camden’s ‘Green Gym’. Just what is it that attracts people? A unique combination of visiting interesting places, doing some physical work and meeting new people seems to be on the agenda. Volunteers get a great deal from the activities that contribute to both environmental improvements and personal development. People like learning new skills and doing useful work that they can see the impact of very quickly. Its good for your physical and mental health and the hundreds of people who get involved also discover small places they did not know were so close to them. Hear all about it.
