Richard on the poison of homelessness
I met Richard at the No Second Night Out hub on Hilldrop Crescent. Of all the many people I have spoken to about the issue of homelessness this year, he was perhaps the most eloquent and thoughtful in what he said. He made it clear how the poison of homelessness is hard to escape.

What's On In Camden 12th September 2016
An exhibition comparing fashion in the swinging sixties in London and the fifties in Ghana is on at the October Gallery; following the crisis at the Queen’s Crescent Market, why not go along to show your support?; Maiden Lane Community Centre will start offering ESL classes suitable for those learning English from complete beginner to having some knowledge already.

Bring It Back
The Bring it Back project gives older members of the Camden community a chance to meet people and showcase their talents with lunchtime singing socials. A visit to the end of season performance revealed stories of human rights activists escaping prison, and a gathering that brings people together from all over the world.

An evening showcasing young writers from Camden and Lambeth brought to you by Tosh and Freddy.
Organised by Small Green Shoots and local youth organisation WISDM and Brixton’s Raw Material, this event at the Queen’s Crescent Community Centre was something special. We hear from the youth organisers and poets running the project and from the performers themselves.
