Watch ‘Young Soul Rebels’ for £2.50 on the British Film Institute’s Player. Crossroads Women’s Centre invites children and their carers to a FREE Kids Party with Captain Fantastic from 3pm to 5.30pm at 24 Worsley Mews, NW5 on on Saturday 13th. On the same day, there is a FREE event for the residents of Maiden Lane Estate to try out the new activities on offer at the community centre. Socialist Film Club presents ‘Pete Seeger – The Power of Song’ by Jim Brown and ‘Blacklisting – Giant Steps’ at 11am on Sunday 14th.

B-Better dance classes for all ages at Winchester Road; Amy Lamé is at the Camden People’s Theatre with ‘Unhappy Birthday’. Artist Adam Walker leads this summer’s Make and Do at Camden Arts Centre and will use aspects of the Dieter Roth exhibition ‘Diaries’ , which is currently being exhibited there. On 17th May, the British Library at Euston Road, opens a summer exhibition, ‘Propaganda: Power and Persuasion’, looking at how different states used propaganda in the 20th and 21st centuries.

This is an interview with Rani Bilkhu, founder of Jeena International, a non- profit organization in the UK. Jeena empowers women and young people via empowering workshops with topics like car maintenance and driving lessons. The main focus is to underpin women’s rights and gender equality. Rani is talking to Lisa Giessauf, a student from Austria who is working for the feminist radio group “Women on Air” from Vienna.
