Kingsgate Community Centre has a fundraising fair to celebrate 30 years of work, Love Music Hate Racism Festival is on at Rich Mix till 1am tomorrow; ‘Regents Canal Folk Opera is on tonight at Canal Cafe Theatre and at other venues over the next few weeks. What's On: Week Beginning 23th October 2010
Saturday 23rd is anti-hate crime day at Trafalgar Square. On Sunday, Black History month continues at the City Lit with a performance of ‘Young Gifted and Black variety show’. All through half term week, the Haverstock Carnival Project is running creative activity to prepare for the Haverstock Carnival. On Wednesday, Camden Council is consulting residents living to the East of Camden High Street about the neighbourhood. On Thursday and Saturday there is more consultation at a ‘Shaping The Future of King’s Cross’ workshop. On Saturday 30th, Schools Out and the Drill Hall Youth Theatre have a unique practical workshop for teachers on tackling homophobia in schools. Lastly, on Saturday 30th October, anyone interested in getting involved with Camden Community Radio can come along to our drop in, 12 noon to 2pm.
