Nada Surf and Turbowolf are at Camden High Street’s Koko this week are. Alternative rock with classical at Great Portland Street, The Roundhouse hosts- Rising Showcase with Miss Brat. ‘Young Adult’ is the new film to see. The are two good plays at the Etcetera Theatre – ‘Three of Hearts’ and ‘Lift’.

LOCKED ON is a collaboration between Camden Calling and Endell St Studios to produce 12 monthly radio podcasts over the next year. The songs performed are:

LOCKED ON’s aim is to take you on a musical journey showcasing the best artists born out of homelessness alongside some of the most interesting unsigned artists currently gigging and working on the live music scene.
As well as bringing you new music we will be tackling controversial and topical issues as well as poking fun at the quirkier side of life.
LOCKED ON is exploring themes on the age old question WHY ARE WE HERE? We will explore this as we produce shows around the follwing themes. WILDERNESS, HAPPINESS,, YEARNING, ANARCHY,REALITY, EDUCATION, WEAKNESS, EMPLOYMENT, HOPE, EMPATHY,RELIGION, EGRESS. Tell us what your thoughts are via the monthly poll or blog comments.
The team producing these shows have all experienced homelessness. We shall challenge your views of homelessness and challenge ourselves to create a credible and exciting radio show.
