Donate to the centre’s Christmas appeal to be in with a chance of winning; also at the Irish Centre this week is a vegan festival; There’s a carol concert TONIGHT at 6pm at St Michael’s Church in Highgate; cutting edge theatre from critically acclaimed director John Plews in Kentish Town; Kentish Town City Farm has its Christmas Festival and a fundraiser for All Dogs Matter, a charity that helps rehome dogs in need in London. Free refreshments from people who drop in during a dog walk.

FitzFest - Music & Sound
FitzFest is a new festival of music coming to Fitzrovia in Camden. Running from June 8-11 it will include sound installations by world-famous electronic artists, classical music concerts, and guided walks of Fitzrovia’s cultural crannies. We spoke to festival director Dan Bates to find out more.

London Palestine Film Festival 2012
Camden Community Radio’s Cina Aissa was at the opening of the Palestine Film Festival, which is at the Barbican until 3rd May. She heard Sameh Zoabi, Director of the ecological Palestinian comedy ‘Man without a Cell Phone’ talk about his inspiration and what he was trying to achieve with his film. Sheyma Buali, one of the festival organisers talks about this year’s festival programme and the direction Palestinian film might take in the future.

Bloomsbury Festival Director, Roma Backhouse talks to Camden Community Radio
It starts with a lantern parade around Russell Square on Friday evening and spreads into two days with over 150 events in 57 venues. The Bloomsbury Festival 2011 promises to be spectacular. Festival Director, Roma Backhouse takes us behind the scenes to give us a sense of what it is all about.
