‘Our Glass House’ is a performance based on real life testimony about how people deal with domestic violence, that is set in an actual house loaned by Camden Council, Tel 0844 77 1000; ‘Wasted’ is on at the Last Word Festival of spoken word, story telling and live performance’ at The Roundhouse; London Irish Film Festival runs from 20th-24th and is followed by the Feminist Festival from Sunday 24th. ‘Loudest Whisper’ is soliciting artwork for the open category of its LGBT History Month next February. The Regent’s Canal is being cleaned up for the Olympics. Charlotte Briere Edney meets those involved and finds out what is behind the project. Serena Britton went to the launch of a spanking new music studio for young people. She talked to the Mayor of Camden and others about how the project came about. A vegetable garden on the roof of the Maiden Lane Community Centre seems to be attracting the interest of local people who look forward to eating the produce.

Camden Arts Centre, Arkwright Road – Zoe Leonard’s spatially immersive experience and also artist in residence Rachael Champion: Camden Crawl this weekend – one tickets covers all: Cobb Gallery, Royal College Street celebrates Todd Lekyraciou who paints musicians as they play and is fresh from New York: ‘Black Men on The Couch’ is proving to be very popular and is next on at Royal College of Dramatic Arts on Saturday 12th May; Freud Museum brings hosts new textile as well as the ongoing ‘Louise Bourgeois exhibition. Titus Andronicus is at the Etcetera, Poetry reports the electric ‘Wasted’ with cheap tickets for under 25s.
