‘Humans of Camden’ is a podcast series for Camden Community Radio inspired by the photography project, ‘Humans of New York’. In it, Bonny walks around different parts of Camden asking passersby to talk to her for 5 minutes. The aim is to capture a cross-section of street life in this diverse and eclectic borough of London.
The first episode was recorded in Camden Town and Mornington Crescent. Bonny asks: “Why are you here?”, “Is there anything you’re struggling with at the moment?”, “What advice have you found helpful that you’d share with others?” (etc.)

Inside the Camden Town Shed
The Camden Town Shed was one of the first examples of the Men’s Shed movement from Australia to arrive in the UK. It was started by local man Mike Jenn and is based in the Maiden Lane Community Centre. It is a den of ingenuity and creativity and source of fulfillment for many of the men (and women) it serves.

Camden New Town Festival 2017
The Camden New Town Festival is a special celebration every year, bringing together the local community to enjoy a day in the sun with entertainment provided by local businesses and performers. March is brain tumour awareness month and Nina Saini talks to Camden Community Radio about her experience of having a brain tumour from diagnosis through to treatment and life afterwards.
Nina now blogs about her experiences and about life in general. Both the Brain Tumour Charity and Brain Tumour Research are trying to expand research into the condition and how to tackle it.
