On the Trail of Camden Town Brewery
Camden Town Brewery has come a long way, very quickly. Founder Jasper Cuppaidge first started brewing beer on a small scale in the cellar of his pub, The Horseshoe in Hampstead, seven years ago.
In 2010 he set up the brewery at Kentish Town West station where he produces around 60,000 pints a week. His beer is served in pubs all over London and further expansion is on the cards. Tom Boyle talks to Cuppaidge about his plans to construct a new brewery in the borough next year – the biggest to be built in the capital for 150 years.
