Kingsgate Community Centre has a fundraising fair to celebrate 30 years of work, Love Music Hate Racism Festival is on at Rich Mix till 1am tomorrow; ‘Regents Canal Folk Opera is on tonight at Canal Cafe Theatre and at other venues over the next few weeks. The Regent’s Canal is being cleaned up for the Olympics. Charlotte Briere Edney meets those involved and finds out what is behind the project. Serena Britton went to the launch of a spanking new music studio for young people. She talked to the Mayor of Camden and others about how the project came about. A vegetable garden on the roof of the Maiden Lane Community Centre seems to be attracting the interest of local people who look forward to eating the produce.

The London Canal Museum Uncovered
Have you discovered the London Canal Museum yet? Lucy Waterhouse has been for a visit to the 150 year old building, which is on the Regent’s Canal, with an entrance in New Wharf Road just behind King’s Place.
