The first lecture is on the extinction of the dinosaurs; Reggae Roast at the forge combines music and delicious food; Irish and Senegalese music come together at the Union Chapel; Walk round the Blue Plaques of Camden to discover about some of the amazing women who have lived in the borough; Artangel open installation at the Holborn library.

Open House Weekend has great Camden offers; The Jewish Museum hosts the World Jamboree for Health Poverty Action on Sunday and Jim Rattigan leads Pavilion Jazz at the Oxford on Monday night; Festival of Choice in London runs from Tuesday to Sunday; The Kitchen Sink opens Theatro Technis on Tuesday and further north on Friday its ‘Vesta Tilly – England Expects’ at The Gatehouse Upstairs Theatre in Highgate .

Camden New Town Festival 2014
Lots of people were at the Camden New Town Festival in Camden Square in July. Freddy Chick and Sarah O’Brien were there to talk to the stall holders and those enjoying the Festival. Maiden Lane’s Food Loop was there with its sustainable products. There were free bike repairs from cycling campaigners, free head and shoulders massages from Camden Women and Health and there was food and drink as well as music, song, dance and gymnastics. Big Up to Maiden Lane Community Centre and the Festival Group for a great day. Camden Community also had a stall this year and lots of you came to say hello to us.
