The numbers of homeless people on the streets in Camden is reaching crisis point. There has been a shocking series of deaths of homeless people round Camden Town and yet despite the risks, more and more find themselves sleeping on our streets. Why are they forced to sleep on the street in our society? What system of help is there and how does it work?

Kill Bill Homeless Protest
A homeless protest has been started beside Broadcasting House. The protesters are the same group of homeless men we went to speak to a few weeks ago. They’ve decided enough is enough and this time they won’t be moved on. They’re calling for action on homelessness now.

Homeless and Living in a Tent
It’s all too common a sight to see homeless people in London. The number of people who are homeless in the city is in the middle of a sharp rise. It’s unusual though to see people living in tents on the streets. Freddy went to talk to Gary who has been living in a tent and discovered the reasons why a tent is better than a doorway, and why more and more homeless people are buying them.
