Argy Bargey on London's Canals
Tensions have flared between boaters and homeowners on London’s increasingly crowded canals. The focal point of the argument is in Islington where woodsmoke and late-night engine noise from the canal have been impacting local residents. But the overcrowding and stress on the canals stretches throughout the city and is serious enough to have prompted the London Assembly to launch an investigation. Its remit is to find out more about what problems there are and to suggest ways of solving them.

Camden Arts Centre Interview
Jenni Lomax, longtime Director of Camden Arts Centre, talks with Denise O’Connor about the Centre, its rich history and strong reputation and the range of impressive educational programs on offer, including a pioneering project where artists and children with learning difficulties work creatively together. The Spring exhibition, Zoe Leonard’s ‘Observation Point’ was a real hit with local kids as well as adults.

Michael Connell on 'Povera - with a Touch of Colour'
Denise O’Connor talks with Black-Irish artist, Michael Connell about his current exhibition ‘Povera with a Touch of Colour’. Michael works in mixed-media to create unique artworks made exclusively made from recycled building materials inspired by his day job as a floor screeder.
Michael Connell is currently exhibiting his large three dimensional pieces at The Crypt Gallery, St Pancras Church, Euston until 6 June. The gallery is open daily from 11am-7pm
