The political profile of the Green Party has been rising sharply, not least in Camden where its Leader,

from the campaign to speak to Camden Community Radio’s reporter, Ann Carroll.
The full list of candidates is:
Natalie Bennett, Green Party
Will Blair, Conservative Party
Jill Fraser, Liberal Democrat Party
Vanessa Helen Hudson, Animal Welfare Party
Shane O’Donnell, Cannabis is Safer than Alcohol

What's On in Camden - 8 March 2015
There’s plenty to see and do in Camden this week. If you’re a Kentish Town fanatic then you shouldn’t miss a talk by the author of the new book ‘Curious Kentish Town’, Andrew Whitehead. Today (Sunday 8th) is international women’s day and there will be celebrations all over Camden. This year’s theme is make is happen and Somers Town Youth Centre is making it happen with a day of activities. All through the month of March the Camden People’s Theatre will be celebrating new theatre in its Sprint festival. There are dozens of performances to look out for and if they get you in the mood for some acting of your own, you can check out classes at the London-Irish Centre. This coming Saturday 14th there will be a booksale at the St Pancras Community Association Centre to help fund Women and Health on Carol Street.

Camden's Top Cheerleaders Are Off to Rome!!
We do love to celebrate New Year and what better group to help us do that than Cheerleaders? Now when we think of Cheerleaders we may associate them with America, but while its roots may be there, it’s a movement that‘s thriving in Britain, and even in our own backyard in Camden.
And it’s not just about entertainment. The activities promote health, community, family and acceptance. Our local group, London Infinity Elite, usually takes part in the New Year Parade in London, but this year they’ve been invited to Italy for the first ever event of its kind there. Just before the group took off their inspirational founder, Valerie Amajoutt, came into our studios and talked to Ann Carroll who asked; What was she expecting from this New Year’s Parade in Rome?
