Interview with children's author Emma Rea
Just in time for the school holidays comes a new book for children by Camden resident, Emma Rea. “Top Dog” is set in a village in Wales where eleven year old Dylan has adventurous plans for the summer break. His heart is set on building a daring bike track with his friends but suddenly everything is changed by the arrival of a new kid in town.
It’s Emma’s first published work and is available from Pont Books, priced at £5.99. Camden Community Radio’s Ann Carroll spoke to Emma about her exciting book launch and picked up some tips on the writing process.

Camden New Town Festival 2014
Lots of people were at the Camden New Town Festival in Camden Square in July. Freddy Chick and Sarah O’Brien were there to talk to the stall holders and those enjoying the Festival. Maiden Lane’s Food Loop was there with its sustainable products. There were free bike repairs from cycling campaigners, free head and shoulders massages from Camden Women and Health and there was food and drink as well as music, song, dance and gymnastics. Big Up to Maiden Lane Community Centre and the Festival Group for a great day. Camden Community also had a stall this year and lots of you came to say hello to us.
