Camden Community Radio’s Cina Aissa went to an International Women’s Day celebration in March 2012. There she discovered the West Hampstead Women’s Centre and the amazing woman who has been its backbone for twenty one years.
18th December is International Migrant’s Day: Radio 1812 has organised radio broadcasts in 38 countries to celebrate migrants all over the world.

Camden People's Theatre offers Performance and Development Opportunities
Camden People’s Theatre is now recruiting to the programme for its Festival Sprint 2013. It is also accepting applications for the ‘Starting Blocks’ programme which suppports lone performers and theatre groups in developing performance of their work. Closing date is Friday 23rd November 2012.

Black Men on The Couch - An Experimental Theatre Event
Denise O’Connor reports on a series of experimental theatre performances that came out of a collaboration between Project 20 20 and the UK Council for Psychotherapy, which aimed to raise awareness of the benefits of the talking therapy among Black communities. Stuart Lawrence and Ashley Walters braved the therapists couch on stage in front of a live audience and Denise was there to get gauge their responses.
